I stayed in 2 different worlds for several years. I work as a professional manager in a global company in working days. And I play as a diver, a surfer or an environmentalist in the beach and sea for my holidays & vacations.

A lot of friends regard me as a good sample of "work life balance". They do think that they are totally different worlds, but I find out some linkage between them.

My leisure life in the sea helped me to calm down and think over the purpose & goal in my professional life.

My professional life gave me the chance to engage with diverse cultures, so that I know where to get in touch more in my leisure life.

长久以来，我一直生活在两个不同的世界中。工作的日子里，做为一个全球性企业的职业经理人，我过着一般“上班族”的生活。而我把大部分节假日和休假，放在潜水，冲浪，或者一些环保活动上。

很多人觉得这是两种完全不同的生活，认为我是一个“工作生活两不误”的人。其实，我自己的体验是：这两种生活并不是完全割裂的。

在海边的休闲生活可以让我放松，去更好的思考工作的目的与目标。

而我的工作让我接触到不同的文化，让我可以更好的计划休闲时光来深入了解其中的差异。
